Tesla, the American electric vehicle and clean energy company, has reportedly filed a lawsuit against the Swedish Transport Agency over a worker’s strike that has prevented the issuance of license plates for its new vehicles.
The largest manufacturing union in Sweden, IF Metall, has been in a disagreement with Tesla over a collective bargaining agreement for its mechanics in the country. As a part of their protest, the mechanics have been on strike since October 27, refusing to provide services to Tesla’s cars.
The strike has also received support from members of other unions, including postal workers, dockworkers, and cleaners. As a result, Tesla has not been able to receive its license plates and other necessary services. Neither Tesla nor the Swedish Transport Agency have provided any comments on the matter yet.
