MTNng Closes All Stores Nationwide Following Government Instruction to Unbar SIMs

MTN Nigeria has announced that all its stores and service centres across the country will be closed for 24 hours on July 30, 2024. Despite the closure, MTNs support centre for subscribers will remain operational to assist customers during this period.

The telecom giant’s decision comes amid a surge of customers seeking to resolve issues related to the recent SIM-NIN linkage mandate. This measure aims to manage the overwhelming crowds and ensure better service delivery once the stores reopen.

Customers are advised to utilize online support services or contact the support centre for any urgent needs during the 24-hour closure. MTN has assured subscribers that all necessary steps are being taken to address their concerns promptly and efficiently once operations resume.
