Bank of England appoints Ernst and Young as its external auditor

The Bank of England announced on Tuesday that it has chosen Ernst and Young LLP as its external auditor for the financial year ending in February 2025. 

 

This decision was made after a competitive tender process. KPMG, who has been the bank’s auditors since 2006, will work together with EY to ensure a smooth transition, according to the BoE.
