Apple’s artificial intelligence features to be delayed, Bloomberg News reports

Apple’s upcoming artificial intelligence features will be delayed and will miss the initial launch of the new iPhone and iPad software updates, as reported by Bloomberg News. The AI features are now expected to be rolled out to customers in October, a few weeks after the release of iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 in September. The company also plans to make the AI features available to developers for early testing through iOS 15.1 and iPadOS 15.1 betas.

Apple’s AI capabilities, which use AI to generate text, images, and other content, will be available on the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, as well as on iPad and Mac devices with the M1 chip and later versions. Additionally, iPhone Mirroring on MacOS Sequoia will enable the iPhone’s screen to be viewed and interacted with on Mac computers.

This delay comes after Apple postponed the launch of three new AI features in late June due to European Union tech rules that require the company to ensure compatibility with rival products and services.
